I can not enable Kite on Spyder IDE.

Hi,

I have Spyder IDE version 5.1.1 and Python 3.9.4. I tried to enable the Kite as shown on the website, but Spyder doesn't have this option on the advance section. Could you please help me with it? Screenshot (117)

I have the same problem. I have Spyder IDE installed via Anaconda Navigator 2.1.1 While worling with Spyder I agreed with the suggested installation of the Kite assistant. In Kite's plugins list, I discovered that Spyder IDE wasn't installed. So I pressed on install. After rebooting the PC the plugin was suddenly no longer installed but Spyder's status bar states "Kite: ready" (screenshot below). So, again, I clicked on "Install" for the Spyder plugin. I relaunched all of the Python software and also quit Kite via its icon in the tasks list. After having Spyder relaunched once again, Kite was also launched. I re-opened its settings, clicked on Plugins again. It took long time to load the list of plugins. And the Spyder IDE plugin was again not installed! I clicked on Learn more and then learned that in Spyder's settings, I shall enable Kite. But there is no entry to enable Kite (see screenshot above).

Possibly of interest: Kite is not available in some versions of Spyder https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/issues/17587
