Make external REST call on Task create/update

It would be nice for a non-email option for pushing notifications of updates.

One solution that comes to mind is allowing for TaskBoard to, upon a successful creation or change of a Task, make a REST API call to an external site (e. g. a Slack Web hook) to drop a notification into a channel.

Is this something within the realm of feasibility?
