We can consider the limit component by component

lim(x,y)→(2,2)x2y−2yx−2=lim(x,y)→(2,2)(x−2)(x+2)yx−2=lim(x,y)→(2,2)y(x+2)=2(2+2)=8

x^2y-2yx does not factor to (x-2)(x+2)y. (x-2)(x+2)y = (x^2 -4)y
