Feature Request - APRS
Automated Position Reporting System - http://www.aprs.org/, http://www.aprs.org/doc/APRS101.PDF, https://github.com/ampledata/aprs is a digital amateur radio position reporting system utilizing AFSK commonly on the 144 2m band (actual frequency and bands will vary on country and location). It is used for emergency response activities as well as balloon tracking. The protocol is loosely based off of AX.25. Right now I don't know of any working all inclusive SDR projects except perhaps using rtlsdr and piping the audio stream to multimon-ng, though it may be more useful to use a serial interface, fifo or tcp connection to decode the APRS traffic from an source such as an external radio/TNC or internet source. APRS reports vehicles, balloons, weather stations and text messages exchanged between nodes.
