Catalina install halts and restarts halfway through

also a slow boot time but that's reasonable for setup HP EliteBook 840 G5 @ 120HZ just stops halfway, no added modifications to efi.

Mojave is working fine here. Please be sure you have the same BIOS version, options, and Clover version.

same version for everything, bios options are the same version is incorrect though, if you'd be so kind could you send a bios backup? i'll update the bios but i'd like to have your exact options

update, fixed my previous issue, once formatted and attempted installing says 14 minutes remaining and reboots back with the generic "your pc restarted due to a problem" macos message
