Will there be an Android version of WindTerm in the future?
After using WindTerm on PC for a long time , I realize the powerful function of WindTerm and I like it very much.So I want to know whether there will be an Android version of WindTerm?
Thank you very much for liking WindTerm
.
In theory, since Qt
supports Android
and iOS
, WindTerm
must also support them. However, due to the different operating habits of Pad/Phone
and PC/Mac
, many interfaces and features need to be redesigned. In addition, WindTerm
itself still has bugs and hundreds of features waiting to be completed, such as Chat Mode, External Tools
, Bookmark
, Search in sessions
, View pictures
, Snippet
, Trigger
, Macro
, Plugin system
and so on. Therefore, the release of the Android
and iOS
version will not be considered for at least this year.
The Apple Silicon/Arm
version will be released in the middle of next year. At that time I will reconsider the possibility of releasing the iOS/PadOS
and Android
version. Please stay tuned.

@kingToolbox, if Android for whatever reason doesn't appeal to you (I doubt that it won't, though) ensure that you look at Termux as a potentially easier way of supporting the platform. I must say that Android support would allow me to finally move to this from Termius.
