SSH terminal colors wrong hue

Terminal colors are the incorrect hue in Windterm. I have attached a sample of how the colors should look vs how they look in Windterm. The correct_colors.png file was captured from another terminal program, but the colors match a direct login on the Linux PC.

The vibrant purple color of the logo and the bright red and green of the text are the correct colors. The dull colors are from Windterm. I have tried adjusting the font settings, the theme and the terminal emulation settings. The colors never seem to change, at least to my eye, to match how it should look. Testing was done in 2.3.0 and 2.3.1.
