Suggestion: add Sync using github account

Hi !

It would be nice to have our preferences and sessions saved and synced automatically between platforms. I have a PC and a Mac and it would be awesome to have both of them in sync.

Maybe using our Github account would be a good way, without having to have your own server/account infrastructure. Like the way VSCode Sync Settings works :)

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, in the latest WindTerm_2.4.0_Prerelease_1 version you can specify the path of the profiles folder so you can sync the profiles yourself using the sync tools. It will be easier if you use services such as OneDrive or DropBox.

For security reasons, WindTerm will not consider adding synchronization functions for the time being. Please understand.

@kingToolbox ，I used OneDrive to sync the .wind folder between my PC an Mac, and I make sure I used the same .wind folder, but the preferences and sessions still cann't be synced. is it cann't be synced between diffrent platforms?
