Connection through proxy is extremely slow since last update

Hello,

Since the latest update, connecting to a server through a jump server has become nearly unusable.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a session to Server A (jump server)
2. Create a session to Server B, using Server A as the jump host (Server B is only reachable through A)

The connection to Server B succeeds, but performance degrades immediately. Typing a single character freezes the screen for several seconds. This lag continues with every input, making the session unusable.

This feature is critical for me and was the main reason I chose WindTerm over other tools.
