Sessions that are supposed to open at startup don't actually do so except for the first tab.

In Version 2.6.1 running on Ubuntu 24.04, sessions that are set under Terminal Settings | Application | Startup "A specific session or set of sessions" do not appear to actually open a connection at startup until you click on their tab (unless it is the first tab). If the tab doesn't have focus, it appears the session doesn't start until it does. Since a couple of them are setting up tunnels used by other programs I would like them to make their connection as soon as the program starts. Is there any way to make that happen, and if not, would you please add an option to do that?
