Proposal: Initialize a highly scalable frontend for showcasing project ideas.
Hi 👋, thanks for maintaining this amazing repository!
Currently, all the MERN project ideas are listed in the README.md file. While this is great for quick browsing on GitHub, it becomes harder to navigate as the list grows.
I’d love to help by setting up a simple frontend that: Displays the curated project ideas in a clean, searchable UI Allows filtering/sorting by categories (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced) Still keeps the source of truth in the repo (ideas stored in structured files like JSON/Markdown)
Can be easily deployed (e.g., GitHub Pages, Vercel, or Netlify)
Tech Stack : NextJS, TS, ShadCn, Tailwind, etc..
Hi @surajgoraicse,
Thank you for the thoughtful proposal and for offering to contribute! I agree that a dedicated frontend would make the project ideas much easier to explore as the list grows, and your suggested stack (Next.js, TypeScript, ShadCN, Tailwind) sounds like a solid choice.
Keeping the source of truth in the repo while rendering the ideas via a structured format (e.g., JSON/Markdown) also aligns well with the project’s goals. Hosting on GitHub Pages, Vercel, or Netlify should work fine—happy to review whichever option you prefer.
Please feel free to open a draft PR with the initial setup so we can start iterating together.
Thanks again for taking the initiative!
