Plugin problems on with PHPStorm - via email
Hey chris,
I just installed your plugin and I have some feedback for ya.
I’m using PHPStorm 8.0.3 on Mac OSX Mavericks
When I first installed the plugin and started up PHPStorm, I got an ImageIO error saying it could not open the URL for the Background Image. The background plugin was not enabled, so I don’t expect the plugin to even try to load the image URL that is set by default. When I changed the location of the background image to a local file, the radio button option “URL” stayed selected, and when I restarted PHPStorm, I got 4 error messages about how the BackgroundImage Plugin couldn’t load the image URL. I think that when I select a local file, it should switch to the “Filesystem” option automatically. Maybe you agree? When I changed the location of the background to “Filesystem”, I was asked if I wanted to restart PHPStorm. I clicked on “Yes” and nothing happened. The restart function doesn’t seem to be working. When I selected a photograph on my hard drive, and selected “Filesystem” and restarted PHPStorm, it loaded my photograph and painted it over all of my editors. I couldn’t see any of the code. Just the photograph. I was expecting the photograph to display behind the text. Well, if you fix those issues, I’ll give ‘er another go. Until then, I have to uninstall this plugin, because I need to code.
Wishing you well from Kansas City, Missouri!
