Healsession connect vs dummy operation

What's the reason that for heal session only connect is used but for heartbeat version operation is used? I would prefer to use version operation also for heal session, because we had recently problem that connect succeeded, but operation failed. I that case session is added back into session pool as healthy and must exceed timeouts threshold to be removed again. With bad configuration it can cause troubles.
