Image Adjust
When I preview the settings in Image Adjust, I see that the text is visible and clear, so there shouldn't be any translation issues. However, when I enable translation, I only get a few words, and even those are not well translated. I don't understand what's going on. I use Google translator, and in the app it works terribly, either because of these "Image Adjust" settings or something else. Because when I take a screenshot of the text and throw it into Google translator for translation, it translates perfectly, so why does everything work so terribly in the app, please tell me. Maybe I didn't turn on the right setting, or I'm doing something wrong.
Check if the values set in the preview are applied to MORT Check if you are using multiple color groups. I recommend using only one
Actual results may differ from internal recognition. Try expanding the color range a little more OCR may not recognize even if you make it clear
Please upload a screenshot of the screen to be extracted / MORT settings and I will check it.
Are applied.
I use only one (I tried to try everything, but I could not configure rgb correctly, and the second and third almost did not differ from each other no matter how much I configured them, the translation worked either half (as if I did not see the whole text) or worked very badly).
I tried different settings, literally taking a step of one unit to check at what value something will change for the better. But as I wrote above, the app either did not see the entire text and turned the translation into a mess, or it saw everything, but translated very poorly and came out the same mess. After trying all the values and still not understanding what was wrong, I decided that it was time to ask for help.
Unfortunately, I didn't quite understand what screenshots you need (I'm using a translator to write this)
hsv color group is set too broadly The screenshot required is a game screen shot that is not translated properly
I recommend using threshold extraction rather than hsv
I've been using different HSV settings, and I haven't noticed much improvement compared to what I currently have installed. There were either no changes at all or it got worse. If you have any suggestions on what settings to use, I'd appreciate it.
"threshold extraction" - is this where the value of 127 comes in? I tried to use it, but I didn't notice any difference, although I thought the settings looked better and simpler in the preview, but the result was the same as with hsv, where they either work the same (sometimes the translation is good, and sometimes it's terrible) or some of the text is not recognized (similar to hsv), and I don't understand why. The text itself seems clear, and the settings in the preview look good, but the translation comes out as if I'm doing something wrong.
do you mean a blank screen with text like this?
Yes, that's the screenshot. It works well with hsv 0~2 / v = 95 ~100. Also, it works well without any image adjust
Please check if the OCR original text is being processed properly. And please check the OCR area as well
Please upload the OCR area situation of the section where the translation is not working, and the OCR result (translation window).
I hope I took the right screenshot, and it seems like the text is being recognized well, but for some reason the translation is looking terrible. It's actually a useful feature for text recognition, and I thought it was a problem with the recognition because I often got a translation of 2-3 words out of about 10, and I thought it was a problem with the recognition, but it seems to be a problem with the translator. I still don't understand why it's so bad, as Google Translate in the browser works well, but it translates something silly through the app. I guess I just have to accept it, thank you for your help
Maybe running in low quality mode Try using a different translator type And just in case, reset the advanced settings
is it possible to change the quality mode? I've tried using other translators, but half of them either don't work with the desired languages or require inputting certain data, which I'm not familiar with (I've tried using Google Sheets and a custom API, and I've also tried using DeepL, but the only difference compared to a regular translator is that it translates with a noticeable delay).
There is no separate Or restart mort MORT shows the current status, please check it When the usage per hour is too high or a temporary translation error occurs, it switches to low-quality mode By default, it runs in high-quality mode
I understand, well, I haven't been using the translator for a long time, but today I've been using it for about 20 minutes, and the quality status says "high quality". So I don't think that's the issue. I'll try to reset the advanced settings as you suggested, although I haven't changed anything other than the text size.
Well, I reset the settings, but the result didn't change, so I guess there's nothing I can do. Thanks again for your help, and have a nice day.
