Set channels to run a command along with message

On my server, we have a plugin that allows all staff members to chat. To send a message to the staff channel, you have to run /a . We should be able to set a command to run before sending the message, so you can easily use features like this.

It would be a better idea to run a command when a tab is opened. e.g. /ch a

In the meantime, you should see if the plugin supports quick messaging. /ch qm a

These commands are from herochat.

It's already possible to do this (at least with the version for 1.10.2), you just change the message prefix for an existing channel. I have a similar feature on my server (Staff Chat) that uses /sc <message>. It's possible to enable staff chat and send all messages in there when I leave out the message portion of the command, but this works just fine since it's really easy to type directly into the staff chat tab I have configured. It's important to note that you'd need to set this up as a tab with "PM" enabled, so you can change the command prefix.
