Unable to take screenshots with the firefox extension via the github download link

What is the issue and how what do you do to make it happen I re-downloaded the asbplayer extension for firefox via github because for some unknown reason you can't find it in the firefox addons page What browser? firefox Is it happening with local video or streaming video? streaming video If the issue is happening with streaming video, what version of the extension are you using? v1.5.0 If the issue is happening with streaming video, on what website(s) is the issue happening? hianime.to

EDIT: The problem does still exist for webplayers but doesn't when I use the local player of asbplayer
EDIT 2: It works now, I had been using opera gx temporarily to use asbplayer (i hope Ill never have to do anymore) but it works now
For what it's worth, asbplayer is not on the Mozilla add on store because asbplayer for Firefox is significantly worse than the Chrome extension and I do not want to present it as a viable alternative by listing it on a different store. I'm willing to reconsider that if you have a favorable impression of the Firefox version of the extension.
If you don't want to list it in the Mozilla addon store, that's perfectly fine. I would still argue tho that the extension still does its job flawlessly, in terms of its pure essence. I for my part am using asbplayer almost exclusively to learn Japanese via watching youtube vids or animes (whose subs I download somewhere else). For every single webplayer I've used with asbplayer, I have so far not encountered any major issues at all (besides that with the screenshot disability for a short time which might have fixxed itself since I didn't receive any updates lol). It does indeed suck that Firefox doesn't have the sidepanel and I would really appreciate it if firefox would get it one day (since I just tried it out quickly and it does feel like a massive perk lol but I think I didn't manage to activate it in opera gx back when I was still using it?) Btw would the asbplayer being visible on the firefox addon store also benefit people trying to use other browsers (it definitely helped me out making the jump from opera gx to firefox with a gx skin lmao, if I didn't see the asbplayer extension on the addon store, I would have most definitely not made the change to firefox) But that's just my opinion, you're the creater and owner of asbplayer, it's you who decides what happens and what doesn't i should be an author if I see how much text I wrote yet again...
Btw (edit): I once again have the issue of asbplayer not taking screenshots (the same thing with it saying that the image capture failed). I once again opted to redownload it (cause I had sudden audio issues, prolly has to do with my laptop even if I have it constantly connected to a power source, also bc I forgot to check whether or not v1.6.0 is also out for firefox), now I can't take screens anymore... (edit 2: it fixed itself after a firefox update, i don't get it lol) that is also a giant factor why I desperately wanna have the extension in the addon store since I didn't had any issues with it, unlike with the download link here on github

I don't mind of absence of side panel, as subtitles being retrieved and displayed properly, so I just pressing "mine" and its working even if app itself opened in new tab. Besides not working screenshot and shortcuts, the only problem on firefox is that it feels a little bit buggy, time to time subtitles not getting loaded and absplayer overlay not being rendered.
But overall I'm grateful for that tool to exist and being able to run at firefox.
@TheDarkDnKTv now that you mention it, missing the side panel isn't really all too big of a deal breaker but I can't deny that it would still be nice.
regarding the not working screenshots and shortcuts, i actually don't have any problems with them on firefox except of course it being a bit laggy, given if we're talking about firefox on a desktop. On mobile devices or a tablet it does really suck that asbplayer isn't able to take screenshots. otherwise I'm also very glad I can also use asbplayer on firefox
however, Vivaldi Snapshot (based on my research an open source webbrowser) does allow asbplayer to take screenshots and you can also use shortcuts on it (vivaldi is the go to browser for me whenever I need to sentence mine on my tablet). The only issue that vivaldi has is that you can't download it as an addon (or in fact any addons in general), meaning you are forced to have the video file downloaded on your device and you can't use stuff like yomitan on it (but for that i have asbplayer on firefox as a small window next to vivaldi open so that i can use yomitan on that lol)
So if you mean by "not working screenshot and shortcuts" the mobile firefox version, I'd be glad if you also gave Vivaldi a try! (ps I'm not an advertising bot, I'm just extremely glad that there is a built-in screenshot thing in vivaldi, otherwise I would have gone with firefox till the end)
