It would be great if a license could be added to this repository.

Choice of license is obviously the prerogative of the author/s.

But, for what it's worth, nim-waku is a consumer of this library and is licensed and distributed under either of the MIT license or the Apache License v2.0, at the option of the user. So it would be great if a license is chosen that is compatible with MIT/Apache2.
