Fragment Errors Downloading

Open rebeltaz opened this issue 9 months ago • 2 comments

For the past couple of weeks, I have been getting a lot of "fragment" errors downloading. Some of the videos eventually download anyway, but I currently have five pages of videos with this error and none of them show any signs of downloading.

This is the error I am getting:

ERROR: [download] Got error: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden ERROR: fragment 1 not found, unable to continue

but one of them has this long error:

I have updated yt-dlp and that didn't help.

I am running Pinchflat v.2025.3.17 with yt-dlp v.2025.06.30 under Ubuntu 22.04 LTS through a docker installation.

I had the same issue, and downgrading to YT-DLP version 2025.06.09 fixed the problem

It would be great to be able to define the YT-DLP version. Currently, restarting the Docker container always downloads the latest version of YT-DLP.

Version docker Pinchflat 2025.6.6

DOWNgrading you say. That's odd, because the reason I UPgraded yt-dlp was because this started happening. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to downgrade that.
