Doesn't work on windows 8

I'm on windows 8. It just doesn't output anything when I click on the mobile icon :( I pressed F12 on brackets to check any error on the chrome console and this is what happens: error2

Sometimes it doesn't show up any error but still doesn't work

I'll test it in Windows 7 when I'm not so busy, maybe next week.

same here, just installed the extension from the extension manager, so i didn't add or overwrite any files, same error log as @lizardking93

I've uploaded a new version, it should be able to launch on Windows now, but I think that on Windows there are still some glitches have to be solved.

Fixed brackets; restart pc and re-installed brackets, installed the extension but still got the same error: "detached from the target". Thanks for the support, hope u can use my feedback.

Which files do you guys try it ? I've noticed that it would not work in the 'Getting Started' example comes with Brackets because of folder permissions.

@kidwm I tried with some files that I'm currently working on and I just tried with the demo files from the original repo and it doesn't work :/

Nice it's working, at the left bar i selected 'get started' and i opened a different directory with .html files i was working on and now it is working

omfg, @kidwm I'm so sorry ! I just read what @geoffreyvd said and I tried opening my files on the "get started" and it worked. I'm really sorry for this :(

So i am using it, and it works but there are still a lot of bugs :/ so gl fixing

can you try the original code. lots of work has been done on it and I did some quick testing on windows 8 and didn't see any issues

the extension is called "Response for Brackets - original" in the extension manager. It has been uploaded today with a lot of fixes in it. Install that instead of the one uploaded by kidwm

the original code base can be found at https://github.com/brimelow/Response-for-Brackets/issues
