Sandboxie not provide portable version now.
Is unpacking .msi files and register the kernel driver in installation scripts possible currently?
Maybe, but Sandboxie not provided msi files.
🤦 Ah, I forgot that.
Anyways, my approach to this is using innounp (which can be introduced as a dependency) to unpack installers. As long as Sandboxie still uses Inno Setup, wherever it's .msi or .exe we can still extract the program and run postinstall scripts ourselves.
Will look into this later, a similar example is available here
sandboxie-plus has been in my checklist for a long time but dealing with programs which need admin privilege are plain hacking and that's no easy task, especially for active projects.
