'Add a Follow' gives 'Couldn't connect' error

  • OS: Mac 10.15.4
  • Browser: Chrome Version 83.0.4103.97
  • Version: 1.1.5

When I "Add a Follow", such as:

  • https://www.kickscondor.com/
  • https://twitter.com/kickscondor

I get the error:

Couldn't connect - check your spelling, be sure this URL really exists.

I have the same issue: I cannot add any more feeds.

Thank you for reporting this - Fraidycat 2 is imminent, so let's revisit this after that release.

This issue has cropped up in the past few days for me for any new urls I try to add.
