i heard the use-case that, they want to have a part of anonymised database, not entire database. the production data is too big and not neccesary to have whole data-set depends on use-case. ( for instance, bi used case but for calculation only for difference with new day)

  • can mysqldump has an option to select dataset? if so, can masking work with it?
