Playback broken with Shield Experience 7.0

Hi,

Just got the 7.0 update this morning on my Shield TV. The app is still working and I have every channels in the Live Channels app with the guide, however, I'm not able to play any channel. I'm getting a message that an error occurs with the video.

I experience the same issue. Logcat shows that the application crashes at startup when syncing guide information. Disabling EPG sync seems to solve this, after which streaming works (but without guide information ofcourse). I only quickly checked logcat on my phone. If required, I can get more log information using my laptop and paste it over here.

Just brought up a Shield with 7.0 Something may be due to a conversion- mine works just fine.

Unfortunately reinstalling the application only fixes the problem for a day or two. I did a factory reset of the Shield and the problem appeared after a day or two as well. So it doesn't seem to be related to the conversion after all.

turn off epg and it works (at least for me) tvheadend giving following error:

Aug 12 09:21:08 theta tvheadend[247]: htsp: 10.10.10.27 [ phixion | android-tvheadend (TV) ]: Write error -- Broken pipe

thanks for all your work! I think this issue is shared by more users... Could you please check it and help us to use this great piece of SW even with EPG enabled...?
