Ambient Mesh - Testing

Implement tests to validate Istio Ambient behavior.

At the moment, it is not possible while Ambient is not GA. It would probably require a different kind setup as it needs to be installed with the Ambient profile. If this is not required, we can extend the testing demos to include a namespace labeled with the ambient labels.

Tests. Setup CI:

  • Install Istio and Ambient
  • Install testing demos (all?)

Tests (I)

  • Verify control plane label
  • Verify bookinfo ambient label
  • Verify workload details ztunnel label

Tests (II):

  • Graph?
  • Waypoint
  • Logs (From istio 1.22)
