Better yet. Rename that field just to "Host" and as placeholder text keep "hostname" or "IP address" (Is ipv6 possible, too?!)

Host does seem to make more sense than URL, and I don't see why IPv6 is not ok!

I havent tried this extension with a ipv6 address. If its not working it shouldnt just say "IP adress" but better ipv4 then.

I try URL http://mysite and https://mysite. But only mysite work without protocol. This field not URL, it`s HOSTNAME.

You can see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniform_Resource_Identifier#Syntax sheme is required for URL.
