clear saved windows which haven't been seen for a while

initially, this should be initiated manually by the user from preferences.

first step is to start tracking "last seen" time for each window.

note: a workaround is now available to clear saved windows which are not currently open from the preferences dialog.

reopening to track the longer term fix which is to only remove windows after they haven't been seen for a particular threshold.
