Allow installing iPadOS apps...

I enabled this option "Allow installing iPadOS apps", but how exactly does it work? Appstore still doesn't show iPad apps like for example HDMI Monitor Orion or Genki Studio. (If I send the Appstore link from my iPad to iPhone, it still says app not compatible with this device) So, do I have to find the decrypted IPA and manually install it thru SideStore? Is that how it works? If not, can someone explain how that option actually works? Thanks!

This option only lets you install encrypted iPadOS apps without making changes to Info.plist. Download encrypted IPA using the same Apple ID and sideload it to your device (make sure to skip signing). Or you can try MuffinStore.
