The time approaches! dnd5e 5.2 is going to provide some tools for hiding activities in the way described here. Looking forward to it!
Thank you for reporting and for doing all the legwork! I am hoping the module author can make the update to provide intentional integration with Tidy item sheets. 🤞
Still waiting on the module author to respond.
The author has responded and is ok with me submitting a PR with the Tidy compatibility. Will be in touch when that is done and deployed in their module.
After a little tinkering, here's what I get for a spell I dragged from a compendium:

Awaiting the author to approve and deploy. I had to go to Foundry 12 / dnd5e 4.4.x to get the module to work, but whenever it goes to Foundry 13...
The author is published a new version of the module with the fix. Closing this ticket.
The module author of Custom D&D5e has said he will try to work on that when he is able. The effort has been on hold for a while.
