And perhaps able to hide the pined message "The accessibility service is enabled! Your mappings should work." on top And Fingerprint tab if not in used.
The "everything's working" banner takes up so much space (especially on phones)! Not to mention, as the sole green and sole bright color element in the app, it still manages to distract my eye every time I switch to the app.
It's understandable to show it on first use, or after fixing an accessibility service malfunction. But ~99% of the time the banner conveys zero actionable information yet remains omnipresent.
Unless action is required, is it possible to move it to a settings page instead? If not, is it possible to at least embed the banner inside the page, so it's at least able to be scrolled up out of view instead of being pinned to the top?
Oy. I've been using this app for so many years, that I forgot — and somehow overlooked on my new phone — there was already a setting for this. ("Hide home screen alerts", if anyone else reads this.)
However, I realize now this setting isn't ideal because it hides all alerts, period. I don't want to stare every day at a banner telling me everything's working, something that's already obvious, but I'd very much like to be notified if something's broken. So the question now is, can we modify the setting in 2.4.0 to only show a notification in case something has changed? Something with actionable behavior. (This difference is already implied by the lack of "FIX", or any other verb, as in the red banner)?
A smaller point: the green banner should be dismissable by swiping it away or with an X in the corner, like apps on nearly every platform do, instead of making the user discover an option for it in settings.

Hi, you're right. This makes much more sense! I think I'll make that the default behaviour. Can you make an issue with all this information? If the user presses dismiss, do you think the green message should be dismissed forever or only dismissed until something goes wrong again? On the other hand, to simplify things maybe no green message should be consistently shown. After you fix a problem, should a toast popup message just say that you fixed the problem?
