Maybe there is a way already to do this? I want to use something like 'select word at cursor' but only when the on screen keyboard is open.

+1 This will also enable users to create custom, app-specific keyboards using floating buttons with constraints:

a. Key Mapper Basic keyboard is chosen b. App in foreground - some specific app c. Keyboard is showing (this feature request)

I have a physical keyboard (I use a titan slim), and this would allow me to essentially make a custom keymap without breaking app keyboard shortcuts. Would enjoy this feature.
