It seems this repository and related npm package should be marked as deprecated, according to this article : https://www.keycloak.org/2022/02/adapter-deprecation.

Please consider addressing this issue. I've invested quite some time trying to integrate this library recently, only to learn (by accident from random Stack Overflow answer) that it is deprecated.

Closing this issue, a deprecation warning has been added to the README and the NPM package.
