Sharing results of investigation into spam accounts
I banned 25 "suspected" spam accounts from my keybase team and thought I'd share the results.
Banned: 12mateo, 8onamygeamy, cherylmackinnon, corinnagarvin, daisybrobst, darrickboren, earnesthappel, jamedarby, jeromychandler, kailabarth, lakatosimre, lillascipio, lonquillen, masonguyton, matchpool, newtonandreas, omunro, roselinemg266, salimtokn, shadcuffee, steffiecmp, tammaroalexia, tracyroberge, valerie0su6sh, vyusedcak.
Every single one of these accounts matched ALL of the following characteristics, unless specified otherwise:
- No linked social media accounts whatsoever
- Exactly 3 or 4 devices (except newtonandreas had 5)
- Stellar address
- Bitcoin address (except matchpool and salimtokn)
- Generic-sounding description (except vyusedcak is in a foreign-to-me language)
- All had "My FOO Device" (where "FOO" is "Windows", "iOS" or "Android"), except 12mateo, corinnagarvin, darrickboren, jeromychandler, kailabarth, omunro. (All exceptions except one had device name based on account name.)

@Hexstream How did you ban the spam accounts from your Keybase?
It's been 3+ years since I did that, I know I used Android but I don't remember the specifics.
There should be a contextual menu of some kind near the user's name in places such as their user profile or your keybase team's members list, look in there for blocking/banning options.
