keybase won't start up

Stuck in Starting? Does your install location have spaces in it (like in your Username?) Check this thread if that's the case for a workaround. https://github.com/keybase/client/issues/25138#issuecomment-1209536679

At least as of 6.3.1, this is still broken.

If you're on Windows, one thing to check is C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Keybase\gui_config.json Some folks will see "windowHidden\":true Quit the app from the hamburger menu Change that true to false Save the file Start the app back up.

This is a bug that started when they broke everything for Win users and persists through 6.4

I tried this and it works the first startup but if you subsequently close keybase the next restart it changes it back to "windowHidden":false and the problem persists.
