SMS verification does not work for my 2nd phone

Keybase GUI Version: 6.2.8-20240306193933+e38523abbe

I tried to verify my 2nd phonenumber, as keybase complains it is not verified, but the expected SMS does not arrive.
The first time I tried was months ago,maybe even more that a year, and I retried it several times, months between tries (as I expected that maybe there is a limit to the number of verifications per country, per day or such). I checked if I can receive SMS on that number and that just works. I also verified that my number is correct, no typo's detected by me.

Same here @roheve. Most likely a common issue for a long time which they have not prioritized fixing.
