The docs site is all kinds of messed up!
It seems its been that way for quite a while now. I could look into it and do a pull request if there's nobody else to do it...
- [ ] help '?' link on home page links to https://book.keybase.io/docs, it should be 'https://book.keybase.io/'
- [ ] https://book.keybase.io/docs/kbp/kbp-config from https://book.keybase.io/sites#more-customizations
- [ ] https://book.keybase.io/guides is brkoen
- [ ] https://book.keybase.io/docs
- [ ] https://book.keybase.io/docs/kbp/kbp-config - broken
- [ ] Somehow the task runner missed building the headers
There's plenty more too, but I think the solution will be something simple, probably has something to do with keybase.io/docs being redirected to book.keybase.io.
Hi, We've fixed the 1st, 2nd, and 5th issues. I'm not sure what you mean by the 3rd, 4th, and 6th ones. Can you clarify? Thanks.
Wow! So that's how the site is supposed to look. Much better. Thanks!
Clarifications:
Issue 3: Try clicking on the "Guides" link in the TOC:
This happens:
Issue 4:
The docs appendix appears to contain outdated documentation. For instance:
https://book.keybase.io/docs/server#next-steps
That confused me because I hadn't read the section about stellar yet. Then I fumbled around some more:
And I knew something was wrong when I saw this:
The rest of the page is like that.
The docs appendix has a different look and feel to the rest of the site. The menus here look like this and have a chapter called Bots:
But then elsewhere the look is like this, and no "Bots", and "Guides" is back:
And at the risk of sounding like a knitpicker, the footer is wonky sometimes:
I think this project is pretty cool! I read all the documentation, even the stuff from ten years ago. Even with my litited understanding, it seems to me Keybase does blockchain better than most blockchain projects do blockchain. It's perfect for NFTs.
Keep up the good work! Let me know if you need a hand with the docs.
