Can't use on local files

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open file from local file system, e.g. file:///C:/Users/home/Pictures/test.png
2. Right click on the image and bring up Magic Copy
3. Once magic copy is up, notice that clicking on any part of the image does not extract any objects

Does this happen when you install the extension locally? I am able to work off of local files. I did see that it breaks for the release version, I think https://github.com/kevmo314/magic-copy/pull/21 might fix that.

You can build a local http file server to use it.
