No state changes reported back to HASS

my wyze sensors no longer report back to HASS. Here's the log. Running on Pi.

This is the same issue I am witnessing. Did this happen after an update to HASS?

I noticed it happening in 0.116.4, so I updated to 0.117.1. Still a problem. I'm running version 0.0.9 on home assistant OS (formerly Hass.io?). Neither my motion sensors nor my contact/door sensors seem to report any state change.

Everything seems to be working here now. Downgraded to 0.0.8, but i'm not sure if that is the entire reason why it's working i again. I believe I initially tried both versions to no avail.
