I think I made an error in the schematic. On the working breadboard version, I had two cables (on cable on each side) and I don't think I accounted for that. On the kicad version, there was only a single cable attached. Since the cables cross the rx/tx pairs, I would be crossing them twice with two cables.

I think I should try digging up this project again if I can find my old dock.
