Wake up screen when starting a video

I installed PIR sensor on my mirror not to have it on constantly. I'd like the screen to wake up and stay on while you're module is playing a video. Would you have any suggestion on how to accomplish that?

Interesting issue here. So the question what are you using to control the PR sensor and turn off the mirror? Is it connected any way with a module to the Mirror (listening to other Modules' or mirror's events)?

If it is connected to the mirror somehow, There is some code (not quite finalized) that will emit mirror events so that other modules can interact with MMM-Screencast. If not and depending on what you are using to control the PR sensor and how it is interacting with the pi, you might be able to listen to the events being broadcast on /tmp/localhost/MMM-Screencast.8123.

I would definitely need some more information to get a better idea. Good luck!
