Detects the cell phone but it does not work

Hello, I have installed the module and put the config, but when I want to put YouTube from my cell phone it doesn't work. Detect Youtube, in fact the logo appears in the Magic Mirror but the video does not run or sound, nor does it stay in line on my cell phone. The network I use is the same both on the cell phone and on the raspberry. Do you know why this error can occur?

Hi @Vamesa!

So I am a little confused, to clarify your phone sees your raspberry pi? You can connect and "cast" the video? Does a screencast screen show up? The youtube video icon shows on the MM?

After all of this it doesn't play?

Can you also send me a log of the MM? You can do that by running the following:

display=:0 npm start >> log.log
  • then trying to cast to your MM.
  • stop the cast
  • paste the contents (or the file) of log.log in this issue

This will be useful in seeing if theres a bug in the module or if something else is going on.

I have the same issue - phone (using youtube) detects the MM as something to cast to, I select the MM to cast to it, youtube tries real hard, but no movement on the MM at all - then the source disappears and I have to reboot MM in order to try again. Couldn't get the log since I have to reboot.

Yep. Same issue, youtube detects RPI, says connecting, logo appears on RPI, then nothing happens and youtube logo stays stuck and requires a reboot
