Cant start logkeys at startup.

Open ghost opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

I'm on Ubuntu 15.04. I have installed logkeys via synaptic package manager.

To start logkeys at startup I've tried following ways but I'm not successful.

  1. I looked for /etc/logkeys-start.sh but there is no such file.
  2. There is no such file as /bin/llk or /bin/llkk

@ghost - I don't know what the state that package is at in that manager. If compiling from source is an option, you could wait until https://github.com/kernc/logkeys/pull/143 is merged into master, and then build that.

installing per the documentation will provide you with the two setuid root programs llk and llkk Using a GUI package manager can be limiting as the build instructions in logkeys hides itself
