Chugs down whole pc then crashes
Basically, after loading some weights it makes everything slow down and then crashes after hitting start. I really don't have any more info other than I was using the prebuilt
This could be caused by any number of things. You'd need to build and debug to determine what is actually going wrong. Some possibilities include:
- Running out of VRAM.
- Using an unsupported graphics card.
- Using an old graphics driver.
- Using an unsupported network architecture (note that the prebuilt uses OpenCV 4,4.0).
If you are able to run the included AimLab model then this would rule out (2) and (3).
1.Doubt it 8gb gddr6 2. 3070rtx should be in the classification of supported 3. Drivers aren't too old about 1 month ago 4. I was using 4.4.0 Never thought to try your included model, Most likely there's something about my weights that just don't vibe with it
The included pre-built OpenCV detector supports NVIDIA Pascal and Turing cards only. The 3070 uses the Ampere architecture. I have managed to get OpenCV compiled for Ampere, but I haven't uploaded any binaries yet.
Any plans on uploading those Ampere binaries in your pre-built package soon? :)
I would love to see this too. I was very excited to give this repo a try but I got the same exact problem.
