Can't pick colors from a File:// URL, and instructions how to allow are wrong

Describe the bug

Hi I loaded a color pallette I saved to by hard drive as a jpg. I opened it to try an use eyedropper to give me the hex code. The extension refused to work on FILE URLs but had a link to allow it. It took me to the Eyedropper settings in a Chrome tab (on Macos Monterey) but there were no directions there on how to allow access.

Thanks for the bug report! I just tried it and it is working fine on Linux and Windows. I don't really see why it should be any different on macOS, but it is definitely possible. I'll try to find a device to reproduce the problem. If you have the time to record a video of the whole process, it would be awesome, but I'll manage without it.
