Slide on touchdrag and mousedrag, fade elsewhere

Basically, I would like to combine the fade functionality with the "normal" slide behaviour. Can slick do this? As far as I can tell, when fade: true is set, slick will fade even when touch or mouse dragging. If not, any plans for this functionality?
