Why is there something, rather than nothing?

Because a transcendent mind willed it so. You need a timeless, spaceless, immaterial, personal being to bring the universe about (all space-time reality). Abstract objects, such as numbers, fit into this category, but they aren't personal in that they don't stand in causal relation to anything. However, a mind does fit this description. And this is the barebones description of God.

Why does a "transcendent mind" exists, rather than nothing?
