Allow Android widgets to have individually customized blur background

for widgets not part of starlight, having an option to blur their background would make them feel much more at home

Are you thinking of blurred back plates behind normal widgets? I could definitely add it as an option

i enabled transparency but other launchers ive used like posidon and kvæsitso draw widget backgrounds

My only concern is since the blur background depends on the brightness of the wallpaper, for darker wallpapers the blur background would be dark as well (like you showed in the screenshot), which would lead to dark text on dark background. Do the other launchers you mentioned draw a light background for widgets?

kvæsitso is customizable, and can reflect the device theme, i believe posidon is the same . widgets are also usually customizable
