No, it uses https://github.com/PrismarineJS/mineflayer to connect to the game. mineflayer supports only regular minecraft protocol and minetest has its own protocol. Maybe its not too hard to make mineflayer support...

you can actually send the screenshot to openai newer models as part of the conversation with them. so this could improve the bot experience a lot

Add that in the node terminal we can chat (like see what's happing on the server chat and chat to the server with the AI account)

I wanted to implement this too and maybe I will if more people wants this. However I wanted the console to be the chat with the bots, not with players...
