Unable to work with blessed-contrib

Hello! I'm currently in the process of writing a terminal client for Discord, and I was looking to replace my usage of the blessed library with this fork. However, I use another fork by the name of blessed-contrib to add additional functionality. For some odd reason, whenever I use anything from blessed-contrib, the program just refuses to run saying that there's "no active screen."

I don't think blessed contrib supports reblessed or it's some sinister issue I have yet to hear about.
