Mobile usability issues

For a long time I've been using Read Aloud, and on PC it works best, however, I really use it for driving safely, having a story read while driving alone long hours keeps my mind alert.

That said, I use it also on my Samsung Android phone, and even finding a browser that can use extensions is difficult, so I used FireFox as it allows extensions, or rather WaterFox bc it's better..

So, the following is in regard to a user on Samsung Android WaterFox browser loaded with Read Aloud (& AdGuard) extensions..

My main issues are: Starting RA (no fast or automatic start up, or hotkey, loads of menus)..

RA won't run while WaterFox is not in the foreground (only runs a few minutes and dies)..

RA forgets where it last stopped reading, so it cannot continue if it stopped (which it does often due to in background, or network problems, or whatever)..

I would like it if you presented in the RA settings a list of the best Android & FF settings for RA to run best, especially in the background.

Yes. It is basically useless while running in a phone. Maybe it has something to do with how Android(for me) manages memory or maybe even the browser (Quetta in my case) manages the extensions. In my case even if the display turns of RA just dies. The internal pairing system is buggy, and needs to be ran everytime. Sherpa-ONNX team provides APKs containing Kokoro, Piper and many other TTS Models as TTS Engine and can be used as default TTS in your phone. I am using sherpa-onnx-1.12.17-arm64-v8a-en-tts-engine-vits-piper-en_US-hfc_male-medium.apk which is fine. I tried using Kokoro one but that is too much for my phone processor to handle.
