Voice changes while reading

I have set the read alone voice the Google UK English Male, it worked great for a while, but lately the voice starts to change to another male voice and at a lower speed while reading a page.

I saw similar issue reported at google extension store review Screenshot 2022-02-02 at 10 35 52

And I found an old issue reported on similar issue. Could you please investigate it? thank you very much!
